I met a stranger at an open house in my neighborhood and I mentioned that I missed playing pickleball. Without hesitation they got my number and within a week invited me to play with all their friends. Great people, great vibes.
A few days ago we were at a family pool party and forgot my twin 3 year old girls floaties — so when it was time to have dinner and they wanted to keep playing in the pool, I was so grateful for a girl in her late teens who we didn’t know (she was on vacation) - we connected with her in the hot tub bc she shared that she is a triplet - I was so thankful that we met her when we did because she was happy to play with my girls and help them so that I could quickly eat my dinner before jumping back in the water with them. I was apologetic and she said “Don’t worry about it, I love children and I’m already in here.” It was probably 5 min of her time and maybe common for her to offer a helping hand (so sweet) but it meant a lot to me bc she didn’t owe me anything and yet she freely gave a moment of her time and it brightened my night….always so grateful for the kindness of strangers. <3
My birthday was a day filled with meaning and kindness. I had the honor of being a pallbearer for a dear friend, one of the most inspirational humans ever! [...] While making my way back from SLC to Capo Beach to be with my wife and kids (who had flown across the country to celebrate the big 6-0 with me), the folks at Delta were good enough to grant my birthday wish and put me on a flight headed for John Wayne [SNA] rather than force me to fly into LAX as ticketed. Not only did they change my flight, the onboard crew hooked me up with treats that typically never see the light of day in seat 28C. Here's to human kindness, it really makes a difference!!!
While attending an out of town Sacrament meeting , there was not enough regular members to take care of this ordinance. Several visitors, including some young men went up and volunteer to help bless and pass the sacrament to visitors and members.
Whether it happened to you or you were an eye witness, we want to hear it!
